Service—the Asuret team collabo-
rates with you to develop an Action
Plan.

The Action Plan will accomplish the
following three objectives:

• Target key indicators raised by
  the rapid vulnerability diagnosis
  
• Address project-level root
  causes rather than symptoms
  
• Define immediate next steps that are directly connectedto business objective
  

1. Asuret joins you (and your external partners, when relevant) to create an advisory team that examines the key business issues identified by the Asuret Measure Service report. These key issues require prioritization and change in order to avoid misalignment with objectives, scope creep, and wasted engagement time.
2. Together, we define measurement criteria that align with the Asuret rapid diagnosis to build a strong foundation for expectations and continuous improvement.
3. Asuret works with the advisory team to identify and analyze the root causes that lie behind the indicators of risk. Typically, only the symptoms of a deeper problem will have been noticed and addressed. This leaves the root causes hidden and untouched.
4. Together we deal with the root causes of IT project failure, which are often the business, cultural, and political issues involved in IT projects.
5. Asuret's engagement team works with you to strengthen the efficacy of your IT team, across traditional business boundaries, where hidden causes of failure often exist.
6. Asuret looks at the way people really communicate and the effect that formal and informal social networks have on IT success or failure. Asuret uses contemporary tools to define communication flows and knowledge gaps so decisions, time lines, and expectations are based on reality not conjecture.
7. Ultimately, Asuret develops an Action Plan based on the finding of Asuret's engagement approach. The Action plan relies on significant collaboration across boundaries, and provides a foundation for the IT organization to extend its influence and value beyond the individual project into the business.
